Clan alliances

Some time ago I started working on clan allies then i stopped it. Now I finished the most important things.
What are the benefits of alliance? Players from ally clans can't attack our buildings or our clan members.
They can use our gates.
I introduced also barracks. You can hire there troops which attacks all players from other clans (except ally clans) which are near our barracks.
I increased clan buildings limit from 10 to 11.
At this moment clan alliance can be created only by moderator.
Ask them for mediation.

Some ground rules on alliances
Only Dukes will be allowed to set alliances, and both Dukes must agree.
If you have issues with your Duke being inactive, contact the staff.
Only one side is required to break an alliance.
NOTE: Alliances are two way. Keep in mind, if one clan in an alliance makes another ally, this doesn't apply for all allies... For instance, if my clan MAD were to ally with Trek, this doesn't make MAD an ally of Trek's allies, like LGND for example.

Will there be any benefit to leveling the barracks (other than increased HP)? Stronger troops, etc...?

Hi,
All idea is great. We just build one barracks, buy few guards and... we have more question than answers:
1. This guards renew themselves when they die? Or we pay for one guard and when he died we must buy another one?
2. Their level increases with the level of building?
3. Why regular member can buy guard? Its it does not make sense, because someone new in clan can accidentally spend the entire money of the clan. Only marshall, lord, duke should have the right to buy them.
4. Why when someone for other clan wanna kill our guard, our tower dont help them? We buy them for 3m, and they are easy target for +200 lvl.

Good point

I changed it and it will work like this on the next server restart which is on 10.13AM FT time.

I have a question about their stats - will their str increase with building lvl? or are they like a sort of pet?

Trying to figure out how the outlaw sobota can walk right into BK compound and kill all our gaurds and none of our towers attack.
There apart of the clan technically so why doesn't tower fire?
