When fishing I noticed a disappearing bug

I was fishing and I saw an item pop up... I was able to remember what it looked like item I'd 290. I clicked it to put in bag but it didn't go in. I'm not sure if I hit remove by accident but I'm pretty sure my finger wasn't even close. I have heard other people having same problem with it disseapering which is the reason why I posted it. If I did remove it could it be placed back on the acct?

no, it is not a bug but a feature. atm, you cannot get these items

Same "feature" works for mined diamonds or other ores and chopped woods.
I have learned to check backpack twice before i leave mining site.
Many times i had situation "one more and go" so i click that one fresh diamond/iron/coal/wood and go, at blacksmiths it appears that im still missing one...
