Can't make progress

I've done everything that I can and the only quests in my book are "Break the magic" and "Black Pearl". Level is 269 and there's over 500 million in the bank. I want to do Kraken Island and the cave on the dinosaur map but can't do either.

1 - The cave on the dinosaur map simply won't let me in. I've tried slaying dinosaurs and wandering around for other things but nothing.
2 - I can get onto the Kraken Island map but I can't get into the volcano. I've taken boat lessons and can speak to the boatsman in the south but when we sail, he always drops me off at 0,0 next to the woodsman.

I read somewhere else on the forum that you have to speak to someone in the House of Houses quest. The only characters I can think of on that quest are Nelrog's friend in the Mage tower and the four rebels in the spider maze, south of Ashdown, in the snow field and northeast of the fortress. I've found them all but none of them interact so I'm stuck.

Any clues please?

I'd say check again with all the houses quest npcs, including the blue devil and the boy asking for the magic book (who were previously not known to be part of the same quest line as the houses) ... if that doesn't work, post again

also, what exactly have you done with the houses quest?

I've tried talking to the forester several times ... usually when the boatsman from Kraken Island dumps me there

I can't really remember any specific "conclusion" to the houses quest, I talked to all the Rebels, went to the houses, gained entry, went to the alters and made donations, went to the house of houses, duffed up the devil for the blue key and went into the blue dungeon, gathered some loot and killed few baddies and that's about it I think. I explored some dungeons in the houses but I don't think they yielded much except loot.

hmmmm... maybe you didn't finish talking with all the prisoners in the blue dungeon? do you remember being teleported out by the one in white?

Yes, I was teleported out. I've just been in the Blue Dungeon again to make sure, found the white prisoner and he teleported me out with the words "You must remain here, but I will help you escape this place". According to the Quest Manual, this means I must have completed the other blue dungeon quests (talking to the other two prisoners and getting their blessing).

I've looked through the current quest manual (http://dmgamestudio.com/files/manual_quests.pdf) and I'm sure I've done them all. I've also been back to all the seven altars and done the associated quests (which aren't in the manual yet) so I'm at a dead end really. I'm just levelling so I can do the black pearl quest.

Can you try talk with Proditor at the mage tower for being sure that you completed first part of Houses quest?

After completing first part of Houses quest - try talk with rebel at snow map (1;-2) for starting second part.

it's hard in rpg because we can't ask admins to simply check our quest logs, and they don't have any ability there to do much... so it might take a little longer, but we'll get it figured out lol...

anyway, a couple things to make sure:

1> like Kromelg said, please double check with the rebel on snow map

2> please double check with and Proditor

3> please double check with Nelrogg

(I know it's frustrating, but so far 100% of the people I've worked with to solve these types of issues were solved by "double checking" something they were certain they had already done.)

also, did you ever do the quest with the stolen book? if so, how did you do it?
