Curious if the higher the level the better the items? Or the faster you fish? Because I've gotten higher level gear at a lower level then I have at level 8. Also is there some type of better fishing pole with better speed?

Unfortunately, all skills stop at level 6, and the tool no longer matters. You can have mining level 20 & have the magic golden pickaxe (no such thing) with a speed of 100, and you will still mine at the same speed at the level 6 with a basic pick. So your fishing is the same once you reach level 6. Therefore, you aren't getting any faster or better. You've maxed out on speed. Hopefully, we can get that aspect changed (see a post I made on that issue).

As for better gear - fishing is random. Supposedly, a level 10 player can fish out a level 500 item, and a level 500 player can fish out level 1 gear (and probably will)

Will this issue of level 6 max be fixed anytime? or stay forever' like this? tell me cuz I want see if il sell my mithrils tools xd

It seems like they collect alot of money from players. As I have spent alot myself, and alot of things are underdeveloped. I hope that skills worked on because that's the only thing I've been working on.

There is a plan to make it slightly different, so that it would feel more rewarding for characters, who invested a lot of their time into an activity. Though this is not top priority. Plus, a general notion of 'diminishing returns'. So, better tools should help much more for the less skilled in terms of cutting the time required for the task,

Items, which haven't been assigned part of their features only signify that the game is in constant development. The unintended ability to fish them out has been fixed already recently, but due to the sudden google blocking of the app, the game version has been rolled back temporarily.
