Hardcore PvP! Probably.

Well, first off I am loving this game. Brand new - level 5. I have 2 kills 1 death under my belt (yay). I will count it as a 2-0 because I didn't know I had to push my weapon icon to fight a player (he attacked me and I didn't know how to fight back!)

Anyway on topic. I am an archer and looking for some viable PvP stats. I am hoping to be more group PvP than solo. Also... I do not mind spending money on a game, but I'm not really into pay to win items... will I always be 2nd rate due to this?

A final note, please send my way some clan names that are PvP orientated. I may be small now, but after some time, I will be a valuable PvP asset! I don't need to be in the biggest bestest most elite clan, but I do want a clan that has a clue and can guide me to be the best I can be! If you are such representative of a clan, add me in game, and we can talk further. (Nolife gam. Sadly nolife gaming was too large and now I have a fail name :) )

As for being second rate because you do not spend real money - the answer is mostly no. There are a few items that you can purchase during the lower levels that will help, but once you get past that level, you can acquire higher level items free. The extra backpack that you can purchase can also be an advantage as it will allow more heal pots/freezing weapons/etc. Also, and quite obviously, purchasing levels makes you stronger faster. Ad removal can help too. I have died many times because I clicked on an ad instead of one of the lower buttons. You immediately go to the ad, and your player just stands there like a punching bag for about 7 seconds before logging off. Other than that, you do not have to spend one penny. The only difference between a level 500 player that purchased levels vs a level 500 player that put in a lot of work but spent no money, is possibly ad removal & extra backpack. Otherwise, they both have access to the same exact items and functions.

As for your stats, it is hard to say because it really depends on your enemy. If your DEX is lower than your enemy, you may have a hard time landing blows, whereas your enemy will hit every time. To guess your enemy's DEX is impossible. You just have to do trial an error. Remember, you can always reset your stats on the start map with the mage near the road north of the river.
