Purple monsters

Anyone know if the different colored monsters that were added with the most recent update drop any random items or any items at all?

From my understanding, new colors are the same monster, slightly stronger. No special drops, no more xp, little bit harder kill.

The special color monsters have a bit increased stats (aprox. a 10% more, I think), but this include too the xp you receive killing them.

The differently colored monsters have some of their stats increased: STR, ARM, HP. DEX is the same to not interrupt normal grinding. XP is increased too.
Stats increases range from 30% to 60%, with ones 30% better spawning more commonly and 60% better - very rarely.
It is planned they will drop the improved versions of monster's regular drop in future. ('+1+ and '+2' versions)

Thanks for the info. Glad to hear there is more exp for fighting those scary new monsters
