I was told that it is possible to get a Mithril Pickaxe by fishing. So, I have 2 questions:

1) what is the percentage chance to get one?
2) I currently have Lvl 4 fishing. how much does the percentage chance increase with each trade level?

Of course, if anyone has a mithril pickaxe that they would like to donate to my backpack, I won't object!

Your chance is very slim. I don't know the exact % but you could be there for days.

You'd be better trying to buy one from another player. A friendly person in a clan may help or Naomi might be a good person to ask as she's good at fishing! See:
