Idea's

One idea of mine was to put a mana Bar into the backpack of the mage that way people who use mage will be able to see if there mana is full or not would help for PvP and such.
My second idea was to have pets be able to participate in PvP. Have pets be able to kill the target player but not the targets pets. Giving PvP and pets a bigger value in game which increases the revenue for the game
_Xanatos_ (level 166 Archer)
WickedAura (level 92 mage) (Main account.)
Paralyzed (level 110 swordsman)

Pets already do participate in pvp; in a positive way as they store potions and a negative way as they can be targeted by spawning.
I take your point though. You mean directly participate by attacking other players. Be careful here - you reap what you sow. In other words, pets would also be directly targeted. Imagine, for example, all the parked pets in the blood mummies dungeon. They are far away from their owners and could be wiped out in an instant.

Yes that is why I suggested that pets couldn't be targeted by the individual nor thier pets . Just that pets could target the individual you are making your target in pvp. Figured would give people more of a reason to keep update with the best pets they can get for their level. Plus would make it a more exciting PvP.

I worry that if this were to work, one of 2 things would happen. The pets will follow a player into nonpvp safe zones around shops, rendering them irrelevant, or they will be subject to the same bug that allows a player to kill you through your siege engine.

That idea was floated by me a month ago.
It wouldn't require much programming, surely?

At personal request, I will comment
The first idea is an old one, about having mana visible in the backpack. I have always supported such an idea.
I think though, the main issue is, on small screens, there is no room for such an addition.
I have personally seen screenshots of backpacks where this is the case.
If that assumption is correct, then this will likely not be added.
Now about the pet thing.
I for one have never liked pets. As a player, I found them very annoying; they get in the way, they die, etc.
As a GM, they are a much bigger headache. I can't tell you how many daily complaints I get about someone killed someone's pets.
(as a reminder, pet killing is not against the rules, and I'm powerless here, except to repeat that over and over).
Make them a part of PvP, and the complaints will simply increase, of how this isn't fair.
No, I will not support such an idea; I think it is a very bad idea.

Sorry...I misread your original post in that case.
However, if your idea were to be implemented i think it would be incredibly unfair on those who play without pets. Their pvp damage output would be significantly reduced compared to pet owning opponents. Also, the pets being able to target players but not being targetted back by those very players is certainly having your cake and eating it.

Although I disagree with his idea, I get his point.
Think about it like this : you can spend money on levels for a direct advantage in pvp. Money = advantage
With his idea, you can buy pets for a direct advantage in pvp. Same thing. Money = advantage
As it stands now, you can buy pets to increase xp gains severalfold, which increases levels, giving you an advantage. Same thing, money = advantage
Just an indirect one atm.
Not a good idea, but that being said technically speaking there shouldn't be anything wrong with it.
Btw on a side note about killing pets, I've noticed pet killing isn't against rules but spawn killing is under rule 9 so for everyone that has the pets killed from someone over spawning or dragging a spawn... Just use the proper wording!
They INDIRECTLY killed your pets by spawn killing, which is punishable under rule 9. Won't get your pets back, but a little justice nonetheless.
BTW a tip I've learned, figure out where the block point is wherever you're grinding. It's against the rules to block annoyingly, but not in a temporary self defense move to heal your pets if someone is trying to spawn kill or if you're just trying to stop spawn in general to heal.
I just dealt with this personally as someone tried to bull their way into my spawn, keeping it up until my pets were red then gave a cheeky little comment about pets dying since I wouldn't move to a different spot and he wouosnt get off auto. I simply stepped on the spawn with him once they got red like I always let them get since he wouldn't move and let them regenerate before stepping off again.
If the above is against the rules then I'm just gonna retire actually playing, unclan myself and just go around killing pets bc that's the only current defense against pet killers besides logging/leaving the area.
I don't play a game to always have to give in to people abusing technicalities. I'll just join them and have way more fun getting even.
