Now that the maximum level of items that can be obtained by fishing is 500, perhaps fishing can obtain other things?

I know ogres can throw fish to freeze people. How about a fish (perhaps the "rare fish") that can freeze monsters? This fish can be thrown by any character (not just ogres). The monster will of course unfreeze the moment it's disturbed from eating the fish (e.g. by an attack). The idea is to allow low levels to run away from creatures that they cannot outrun normally.

Also, why not have certain potions that can only be obtained by fishing? E.g. 5K HP potions, 100 and 200 mana potions...

Just to clarify, 500 items cannot be fished. Only items under 500 can be fished. I asked Dahobbit earlier on mchat.

I can see the idea behind removing higher lvl items from fishing but below 500 imo is a little drastic.....I know I personally enjoy fishing now it's almost pointless (I'm going on lvl 14 fishing)....I'm propose maybe making the cut off lvl items fishable maybe 1k or 1500....that would take the major money making items out of the mix but could still be fun and worth while trying to catch a 1k item (288m)....also I'm kinda hoping/wondering if they gonna have a way to get 1500 sword and wand because as of now there is no way to get them now can't catch fishing.

Since a level was added to lightning stings, we can expect that if fishing limit was ever raised, the lvl on these would be raised as well, and honestly, I'm surprised more items didn't have lvls added. For example, certain quest items, or the 100k Hp and 200 mana pots. These truly are nearly useless, though, since the players who get to them are usually unable to use or the players who might want cannot get more than one.
