FT Account name: bosslife
Time of bug: Same time as post.
Where: happens no matter where I am.
What: I can send out public, whisper, clan, and PM chats, but I can only recieve PM chats. I cannot see any other chats.
Why: So far, I've asked my friends and clanmates if they can see other players chats who are in the area and they said yes, while I cant see other players chats which is becoming problematic for me. People have to friend request me and send me a PM for me to chat with them.

It seems possible that you need to adjust your chat filter.

Can we sticky this post to prevent this question from constantly being asked? I had players ask me this regularly back when I was GM. It is particularly a problem on shared accts. I'm not saying that is the case in this case. Just making an observation.

It'd help if there was a notification as to which filter you have applied. I played around with it as while back and since nothing notified me of any actual changes I figured it didn't work anymore.

Took me days to figure out why everyone was ignoring me.

If you are ever in doubt about your chat, use this command.
/filter global
It resets your chat to non-filtered status. If that doesn't help, then contact GM team for assistance.

I just don't touch it anymore tbh lol, I thought it'd give me some sort of confirmation and when I didn't see anything I just went about my business.

Finally a clan member kept attacking me for some reason but would never answer me as to why. Switched chars and device and figured it out lol
