Can someone post a picture of what mithral is mined from? I have tried mining everywhere in the red cyclops dungeon, but to no avail. NOTHING REGISTERS. I have enough trouble trying not to get killed down there. So can someone please help.

Mithril is mined from the red element you can see in the center of this image:

Of course, you need having a pickaxe in your backpack

Try the blacksmith for a pickaxe

Thank you!
The one I thought was an open chest. Naturally. I did try it but got interupted by the cyclops swarm. I do have a pickaxe. I even made up a level 2 pickaxe thinking that might be the problem.
BTW, the more axes (wood or pick) you have, the more people mine and the faster you're done.

I was convinced the party needed a tool for each member - then I noticed that one single tool is enought
if only you order them all to work, starting from the last one who joined you.
I.e, if your party members joined you in this order: (you) - ogre - archer - dwarf - mage, to have them all work (even with a single tool istance in your bag) you have to put the mage at work, then the dwarf, then the archer, then the ogre, than the swordman
