Mounts, Item Stacking, Waypoints and More!

So i would like to start this topic with listing all suggestions i have so far and then i will explain each separately with more details:

  1. 1.Mounts
    2.Boots Speed
    3.Skills
    4.Waypoints
    5.Scrolls of Town Portal
    6.Chat Reorganization
    7.PvP Arena
    8.Overall Balancing
    9.Shops
    10.Item Rarity
    11.Bank
    12.Item Stacking

Mounts

How would mounts work like? I would suggest making a stable master somewhere on the map which owns a stable and horses ofc... U would need level 20 to unlock ability to take a quest for the horses... quest should be quite hardcore... when u finish it u can buy a horse which asks for level 1 horsemanship level... he should have base speed, lets say +5.. would need 12 sec to summon and it could be easily unsummoned by low rate hits... buying horse should cost gold as well... higher level horse should have lower summon time, should have more speed and should have more resistance to being unsummoned... note: ur walk speed gained by the boots shouldn't affect horse speed when u attack smth, ur horse should be auto unsummoned, not on the press, on the actual attack tho...

Boots Speed

How about changing walking speed bonus on boots per there tier? like every next tier should give +0.2 more walking speed or smth.. i think everyone would love this...

Skills

Ik you guys already had tons of suggestions for skills.. this is my overall suggestion... Make everyone have 5 skills and make skill level up system... now u r wondering how... i would suggest making a teacher for every class specially somewhere on the map... maybe more teachers... each should be able to level your skill up from one to another level.... anyhow... to level an exact skill u get a hardcore quest which u need to complete to be able to pay to level it up...

Waypoints

Making waypoints would help everyone out... how would they work u wonder? Waypoints should replace those random teleports which exists on the map. Once u "discover" a waypoint, press on the one on which u did not press so far, and u can move instantly to the ones u already discovered. Making one on the starting point would be crucial for it to work...

Scrolls of Town Portal

This would be an alternative for Waypoints, which is a way worse, in my opinion.. there are 2 options for them to work coming to my mind... they can teleport ya to the closest town or they can teleport ya to the very town u wanna them teleport you. As an example u could buy scrolls of town portal for silverwood's town and teleport right there... i think it would be best if u put it that it only can be bought in silverwoood...

Chat Reorganization

Let's be honest... current chat is a mess.. u can only chat in clan chat and local chat.. trading items is harder then finishing a college... therefore i would suggest a chat update... how about adding an option to see history of the chat with like 100 messages... adding "global chat" maybe even "trade chat" and adding an ability to whisper those who ain't your friends nor on same map as u...

PvP Arena

How about making some decent PvP? a decent arena in which u can't plunder other's items nor lose ur own... nor lose exp. Matches should be fought in like 1vs1, 3vs3 or 5vs... in normal mod or capture the flag mod... fighting in pvp should give u some prestige points which should be a currency in pvp shops... which should have better den usual gear...

Overall Balancing

It would be great if u limited quests level requirement... make sure that every quest has level requirement... add more quests.... also fix some quests rewards... for an example 2 finish old man's 1 quest u need level 40... also fix level requirement for that quest, since it obviously is 40... and for reward u get level 25 item... maybe limit the area low levels can move? seal of part of the maps which has greater level than 2+120%of your level... like if u r level 5... u should be able to enter part of the map with level 8 mobs.. but level 9 should be a no-no...

Shops

I loved how you made the first shop contain only items up to level 6... what went wrong in shop number 2 and so on? why did u put items lvl 200 in shop in area level 2? i think u should rework shops... add more of them, and make them follow ur level... and make them offer items for same level as that area is. I would suggest making some hidden shop somewhere... maybe some floating shop as well which travels the map randomly and contains high level shit... maybe getting a unique mask which makes u see the invisible... also needed for some quest u guys should make... with that mask u can see that hidden shop as well... which contains even better items...

Item Rarity

How about adding item rarity which would help quite a lot... make shop items always common, and make all drops "uncommon++"... u already have +1, +2 system or whatever.. how about converting it to common, uncommon, rare, unique, legendary, artifact, relic? crafts should be "rare"

Bank

In case u add waypoints or u do some decent balancing, bank would need a position change.. so here is my idea... put bank in every village/town... for u it still would be 1 bank, just accessible from every town... also instead of guard...since they r exploitable... for quests such as siege quest or just getting them to kill enemies that could drop a quest item... remove them and make monsters auto die when entering a town... and disable pvp in them...

Item Stacking

It would be great if u could stack more items on 1 slot.. such as potions, quest items and crafting material... even scrolls of town portal if u add them... so why not making a stack which would be up to 10?

This is an excellent post. I need to digest most of it properly but I think at first reading, there are reasons some ideas aren't already there. For instance, way points would mean a massive increase in memory requirement. For many people, part of the appeal of FT is that it's a small drain on yr device.

This is by no means a criticism. You've come up with some great ideas and I love how this can keep developing our game.

true.. i did not take in consideration about amount of CPU and RAM would mobile have to use to load all those waypoints.. sad tho... hope things will change in few years about that matter... hopefully mob standard will improve enuf for it to work...

Walking about the map is part of the game. Exploring is a key point of FT

Teleport scrolls to shops and towns, yes, but only purchaseable in that town or shop, and VERY expensive
(1m minimum, more for journeys to rare or distant places)

yep, but not when u have to run to opposite part of it to finish the quest.. also scroll would be auto destroyed on use... like 1 use and they r done for.. same as potions...

Quest = work

Holy Grail not found in shops, or by teleport

*** do u mean by holy grail(ik what it usually means, still do not get the context of using it here)? is it some item for high lvls perhaps?

The Holy Grail was the object of a quest by the Knights of the Round Table.

The quest was meant to be difficult.

I used this as an example. Quests in FT are not meant to be easy. Therefore part of these quests is the long (and sometimes dangerous) journey involved.

Having players easily jump about the map to quickly finish quests goes against the whole concept of FT.

yep, that is why i am telling ya.. make level requirement for them.. as an example... i got 35 levels in first 3 minutes of playing FT with 1 of my chars... my current one, ogre.
