If I get the flash ghost skin, could this skin possibly cause lag on my device since this skin changes color?

no, it shouldn't act differently than any other skin - the changes are simply differently colored pngs, not any type of rendering on the go

Thank you for the info. While we're on the subject, does the mage spell cast animation cause lag for players? I play an archer but have always wondered this. I have heard others complain about this before but wasn't sure if it was true or not.

I'm not a good one to answer that to be honest - I've almost never experienced the lag that many players report (except during spawn parties lol) so I never really was able to narrow down what may cause it. My guess is that the animation itself is not much of a problem, but possibly the system processing a million taps? Especially if one or more are using auto clickers... it wouldn't really help them attack better (and could cost them their account) but possibly it could cause lag... that purely my own guess though

I can give a little insight, if not a definitive answer.
I've mostly had low end devices... very cheap lol.
The first phone I played FT on would suffer lag from animations etc. on a regular basis... the busier the screen, the more chance it would go slow... zooming in would help immensely.
It also had a recurring memory error... something like, if I didn't change maps within a set amount of time, my game would freeze, and I'd get the "stopped working" notification... when I became a moderator I found that teleporting would reset this memory, and so, if just standing around, I'd teleport myself every 5 minutes or so just a few paces lol.. I did realize though, that this memory issue happened quicker on busier maps rather than empty ones.

So, yes, I would say that even though the game supports lower end devices, don't expect great performance if you bought your phone at a corner store like I did

I will also say, that when I started using emulators, I noticed a difference when I got a newer computer too. Much less lag. Too bad I never did a spawn party with it... it's dead now

Using my antique laptop again... so no dual monitor action going on.

Thanks for the input. I bought my phone and my tablet at Walmart for 40$ each so I'll stick with my regular ghost skin.
