Clan map logging out...

Logout times should be extended to 20 or 30 secs on clan maps, preventing seiging players from logging as soon as they spot oppostion. Really quite silly!

The visual doesn't hold up of characters with 10 ton siege engines using hit and run tactics!

Terrified attacker, "Oh oh, here comes the mighty defenders. Grab those sieges and throw them in your backpack, we got to get out of here."

Backpacks clearly have an Undetectable Extension Charm of which even Hermione Weasley (née Granger) would be proud.

To that point, I'd like to see the log times extended to 30 secs, once engaged in combat. Logging should be fast for the convieinece of game play, but not as an escape

I would slightly disagree. Someone should be able to log in 11 seconds if, when attacked, they do not retaliate (and have not previously attacked their attacker).

This allows weaker players to flee, but the penalty for their flight is being unable to log in for some time, say 10 minutes.

it would be nice (after attacking in PVP, and on clan maps especially) to have like a 30 second delay logging out... and also a delay logging back in - like say for 5-10 seconds after logging in, your character shows where he will magically reappear (maybe flashing to indicate he's not really there yet)

Depending on the duration of the delay when logging back in this could prevent people from logging and buying a level and relogging with full health. The delay would have to be as Arashiko said tho. Like 5 to 10 minutes. I like this.

I haven't a problem with any player using game methods to flee, there are many, but to simply vanish is quite different, and never the intended purpose for logging in and out! It is curious however, that you cannot leave a screen when under attack, and to log, an 11 sec delay, but when attacking a clan with a seige, neither apply! :shock:
