Stuns

I believe that stuns used to stun/attack another player shouldn't be able to hit unless the player using the stun has a higher dex than the intended victim. I see high level players traveling with very low level players that stun opponents while the high level player attacks or kills the stunned players. I do not believe that stuns were intended to be used in this way. I do not believe that the individual that developed the idea for stuns had this in mind when they released stuns into the game.

for whatever it's worth, i completely agree... that never did make any sense to me - neither from a fair gameplay point of view nor a role playing point of view

I agree. The stun attack should be resolved in the same way as a normal attack, not automatically hitting.

Great idea. It would certainly go some way to avoiding the problems detailed in this thread.

Yea i kind of agree too but then stuns would kinda be rendered useless....cause a sword doesnt need high dex cause of always crit skill...and even if a dice roll was implemented on stuns theyd still b pointless cause people can have up to 80 unfreeze and figure for an example that only 25 of ur stuns hit(cause of a crit hit dice roll)...it wouldnt work imo...stuns are 1 of the few ways to try kill high lvl mages with a group of people

Then perhaps a player with less dex than the player they are attacking can only use stuns if their critical always hit skill is activated.

Yes sorry Ryaca I not with you :"( I think normal PvP knives are almost unless . So people make that alts about what you talk but it's fun when they die 1 hit :)
