You want a free pet? Easy - just fish from this spot. The first one wins a free pet. How?

1) You must enter from a secret portal I put somewhere in the FT world.

2) You must post a screenshot of you fishing from the same spot I am fishing in - see picture.

3) You must also tell me the location of the secret portal, and it must contain the coordinates of the secret portal.

4) First post with correct info - wins pet.

map 0-2 ....player evlimantis lvl 34 mage told me that portal..he don't have forum account so he asked my I post it! Please hobs give him pet he found it first

I now have a pic of the portal, and a pic of me fishing.
But I did not win.
The player, evilmantis, was the first one I saw inside.
He also told me what map to find the portal on.

Anyway...

Iam now fishing in the place and i know coordinate to the portal

Now, I can't see pending posts, that a moderator can see.
There are at least two I believe that are attempting to post.
I cannot know for sure where the first "winning post" is.
But the way the above rules are worded... it's quite possible that "I won".
If that is the case, I'd ask DaHobbit to verify if "evilmantis" did get in by the portal.
If he did, I would ask that he receive said pet.

I might also suggest, rewording the rules slightly...
Just to avoid cheaters and such.

EDIT: perhaps, he should only be entitled if he does post
Edit2: I actually saw 3 players get in before I did; IMO all 3 should be considered

The first post is disqualified. The rules do not say that you can post for friends. If you do not have a forum account (which means you aren't reading this - but someone can tell you), you are not eligible. I thought that was clear in my rules. But it seems as though it's not quite so clear. So.... tomorrow, I will include that.

The first one to report to me was done on Facebook. That's not allowed either and I told him, but he said he cannot get on forum.

If you know anyone that is having a problem registering on forum, please let a GM know. They can try to help you. We may need to get the assistance of a forum Admin, but we will do our best to try.

It seems Mad wins by default.

I completely agree that evilmantis needs to create a forum account.

Laziness should not be rewarded.

Well... I think I did see an evilmantis forum account pop up after I spoke with him in game about it...
But, he didn't post...
He's new.. so I would suggest maybe considering giving him a chance?
Fun fact: I did run afoul of him before. Getting him on the forum was a great idea, I thought.

As for the rules.
I would suggest, the fishing pic should include a timestamp.
Perhaps, that could be considered in your declarations of winners.
Obviously, if the goal is to get on the forum, a seasoned forum user (like me) would have a distinct advantage over someone totally new (who has to find the topic, has to figure out how to reply, has to figure out how to post pics)....

Anyway, if I do get the pet, I will ask him myself to post here.
If he does, I'll give him that pet.
If it's my pet, I can choose to do with it what I like (and that choice seems to go along with the original intent of the game, does it not?)

Although I'm surprised. Usually you're the first one to get a little frustrated at players that won't come to forums.
