Forgotten Tales

In the past few days I have noticed that when I log in it takes a really long time to log in. It says loading for around 5 minutes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Not here, and this is the first report I'm seeing about it recently. I suppose you've done all the cleaning cache and background apps and so on things
Might it be your net connection? Are other programs running fine?

Yes. I cleared cache for all my apps and deleted all of my pics and cleared my browsing history on the internet. FT is the only downloaded app that I have on my phone and my tablet. The other apps I have came with my phone and tablet when I bought them.

I believe my Wi-Fi is working correctly but it could possibly be my connection. I will contact the WiFi company.

After the initial long loading wait at the log in screen goes thru then I can log and relog as many times as I want without any trouble. Once I close out the ft app I have to go thru the long loading process again.

No issues here mate. High internet usage over the festive period maybe? That's a guess - I'm really not IT savvy at all.

I bet that is it.

It's done this to me once before for a few days and when I inquired about it I was told that there were lots of updates being done. I believe it was around the time that the last of the new maps were being implemented. I hope that is what is happening again.

A new map has been added to the game, perhaps it was that?

When your client is doing the "loading wait" thing... it's usually trying to connect to google play and google "play games".
This is where you can see the extra buttons appear/disappear, like the ads button.
You can see it more often on emulators and such when you keep removing your "device" gmail account.
I don't know why... but sometimes, FT has a rough time connecting to google services..
That's what it's always been for me though; when it's "loading", it's having issues at the google end.
Considering the date, I'd expect there to be a little bit of lag on the google servers over the coming week.

Last night I logged in on my phone before I went to bed and my phone logged me right in with no wait time.

So all is well again.

A bit off topic but yesterday I played FT from the early a.m. until right around 3 a.m. this morning with only a few very short breaks in between.

I wonder how many hours I actually played.

It's been over 3 years and I am still captivated by this game.

No other game has ever has this effect on me.

Pretty hard-core FT action there
