Welcome to FT Did you know episode 3! by nickpan

Did you know...

Characters on FT have skills? (of course you know lol)
Let me explain every single skill, (for newbies):

Swordsman:
-LvL 30: Always Hit: character's attacks will Always hit the target. Useful for PvP and Grinding.
-LvL 60: Freeze Sword: Freeze target, he won't be able to move, but he will be able to attack! [Antifreezes will remove freeze/slows]. Useful for PvP.
-LvL 100: Fire Sword: Next attack will reduce target's HP by 40% and your life by 10%. Useful for PvP and Grinding.
-LvL 140: Slow down enemy's attack, not sure how that works but i know this skill is never useful.
If you are able to do a skill, PvP or Grinding, never choose this one.
( For Creator : I believe this skill must be deleted, All characters except swordsman have 3 skills, Swordsman have 4 BUT it still is a DISADVANTAGE for him, why? Because 4 skills = less slots for potions etc. and his 4th skill is bad for both PvP and PvE. there have been many suggestions for deleting this skill, hope one day it happen. )

Archer:
-LvL 30: Double attack speed. Useful for PvP and Grinding, good to counter mage's heal.
-LvL 60: Fire arrow: Next attack will reduce target's HP BY 30%. Useful for PvP and Grinding.
-LvL 100: Freeze arrow: Freeze target, he won't be able to move, but he will be able to attack! [Antifreezes will remove freeze/slows]. Useful for PvP.

Dwarf:
-LvL 30: Gain 50% spell resistance. Useful for PvP vs. Mages.
-LvL 60: Fury: Attack at the same time all enemies in his weapon's range. Useful for Grinding.
-LvL 100: Running: Gain +2 speed. Useful for PvP and faster map traveling.

Ogre:
-LvL 30: Gain 200% (double) damage. Useful for PvP and Grinding.
-LvL 60: Stun hint: Reduces target's HP by 25% and mana by 50%. Useful for PvP, specially vs. Mages.
-LvL 100: Twister attack: After you hit a target, everytime he hits you he loses 2% of his HP. Useful for PvP.

Mage (spells):
-LvL 0: Yellow Flow Spell: Deal damage to a single target in atk range. DMG: 30+ 1,5xMana.
-LvL 5: Heal Spell: Healing every player in range except targets. Heal: 50+ 2,5xMana, Healing is reduced for every player it heals
(for example, if a non-targeted player is in your heal range, the heal splits, reduced by 50%.).
-LvL 10: Green Flow Spell: Deal damage to all targets in range. DMG: 50+ 2,5xMana, Damage is reduced for every target it hits (works like Heal Spell).
-LvL 20: Slow Spell: Slow down all targets in range.
-LvL 30: Armor Spell: Adds armor on every player in range except targets. ARM: 2+ 0.1xMana.

These are skills of characters. But don't forget Player's stats always matter for PvP and Grinding!

I agree about the 140 skill on swordsman, it's completely useless. I don't think I've ever used it

Freeze sword is an effective tool for crowd controlling enemies in PvE you don't want to engage.

Slow skill is useless

The only scenario I can imagine Slow attack being even slightly useful is prolonging your death in PvP against
a much higher level opponent. Does anyone actually know
how this skill affects enemy frequency (I assume that's what it does).

I believe it slows the enemy by cutting their speed in half

I think it's unfair that swords cannot use speed pots unfreeze and stuns due to the 4th skill

I only play an archer but have heard complaints from swords

It cuts it in half??? Just says slows enemy attack down when you get it
There's so little information about it.

I would suggest that dwarves get a 1.5 trade affinity for woodcutting. They have so many axes

I say no, that no class should get a boost in woodcutting...

The issue is: 5 classes, 6 skills/trades.
If you look, they all have a 1.5, a 1.25, 2x 1s, a 0.75 and a 0.5...
This is balanced so that all classes have the same number of pros and cons

If new skills/trades are ever added (like idk... cooking?), perhaps the table could be redone...
or, new skills may just be "equal for all"...

but in the meantime, if you were to give someone a boost in woodcutting, it would unbalance the rest unless you lowered their skill in another area

I still think all classes should have 1 on sieging and swordsman should have the 1.5 in chopping.
