Forgotten Tales

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but it does say Off Topic .

I let my phone battery die today, first time in ages, and now find myself in absolute boredom at the moment while waiting for it to charge. Reading through the forums is good at passing the time but it really makes me want to log in and play.... eh but my phone is dead, sad day. So here I sit, reading through forums while I wait for my phone to charge.

Thought I would just make a post of my current train of thought.
So what activities do you fill your time with while not playing FT? Yes, I know it is a big world with limitless possibilities. I generally like to go camping, hiking or rock climbing in my spare time when not near a phone or computer. I have a passion for the world itself and travelling. I love the great outdoors. Maybe when I get my hard drive out of the box I will upload some photos of my adventures.

If this is not an appropriate forum topic feel free to delete, I am just bored at the moment. Sitting here waiting for replies to other topics I am involved in or just found an interest in reading the banter and input of the community.

Me, I usually just spend time with my GF, although, I am looking at other options for future horizons.
I'm rather limited irl as to what I can do - so I try to do things online mostly.
My goal has always been to help people have fun - as that's why most of us come online, to seek distraction from real life - and I got sucked into more responsibilities along the way. I spend way too much time here

But, for those in boredom, I will offer a few fun things to read, to help pass the time:

If you're just looking for reading material, Off Topic is great. Clans can be fun too, although, it is about clans. Not really my thing, but I do post there sometimes.
Both of these forums are a little less strict, so there's more fun to be had.

Really enjoy reading the adventures of LostKnight. He was actually the first player in game that I met that helped to introduce me to the world of FT and get me hooked on it. Beings that I am still very young in this world (level 10) I think I might actual create a short stories post much in the same fashion to catalogue my adventures through the game. I used to really enjoy fantasy creative writing and doing short stories, so would be great to start this again.

My current life situation limits a lot of the things that I can do now, most of my adventures are relived through photographs that I have and things I had aspired to do. So being able to live tales full of adventure this way would definitely fill a hole in my life. Thanks for the inspiration LK and also thank you for your hospitality and welcoming attitude towards new players.

Is being "on topic" in an "off topic" thread the same as being "off topic" in a "topiced" thread?
