Burning Ryaca's Church

So I am just wondering. I recently came across Ryaca's church in Ashdown. It reminded me of many of the churches that have been burned by invading armies throughout history. Looking at this structure I thought to myself, raising this church to the ground in flames, would this be considered sacrilegious?!

I have my torches ready!! Shall we make it a bonfire 8-)

Lol i am reminded of the black metal scenein Norway

Sometimes black metal fans burn churches to earn their stripes

This proves they are true black metal fans and not just posers lol

I would really hate to see what they have to do then to earn their bars!!

Does lighting a candle on a churches doorstep and leaving it there count as burning a church?

I really hate Wikipedia, but I must admit that was a good read.

Talk about Mayhem though!!! That band had it all, WOW! I would mention more thoughts about it, but I found a lot of morbid humor in that and it is not content appropriate to the forums. Their escapades are things you only hear about in stories and see in movies.

Gruesome!! Burning a church was the LEAST of their exploits. lol

Agreed

There is a very good documentary about them on YouTube

In fact there is several documentaries about the exploits of black metal bands

Seeing that I am a history buff I will more than likely look this up. Generally my interest in history goes a little further back than the 1980's but after seeing this bands exploits it has piqued my interest. My favorite parts of history are more war related than anything, although I do also enjoy learning about the rise and fall of different civilizations.
