The device that i use to play FT is only used for FT

It is a $35 dollar tablet that i purchased from Wal-Mart

I have no other apps, pics, or videos downloaded on it and i don't use the internet very often and have gigs of free internal space

I make sure and clear all of my apps cache every week as i know that the tablet comes with apps pre installed and some of these run for normal tablet operation

I also clear all browsing data from the internet browser every week and save no passwords or history

I also turn off my tablet every night when i am done playing FT

Most of the time i use my phone to browse forums and my usual internet browsing

I rarely ever experience any lag and when i do it is my Wi-Fi acting up

I've always wondered if this helps my gameplay experience.

I hear many players mention experiencing lag problems often when i don't experience lag

Does using my tablet only for playing FT help my gameplay experience

Do players experiencing lag have a device that is bogged down with apps like Facebook Twitter Snapchat etc as well as other apps and pics and videos and hardly ever clear app and internet cache and browsing data and hardly ever turn their device off

I am not a technical expert so i have always wondered if these things i have mentioned matter at all

A good way to test - put your fps on in the settings menu.

Fps drop spikes are almost always your device - that's measuring your ram kinda.

Floating players (players moving around in ways they shouldn't, not appearing where they actually are) is usually connection, but sometimes server.

When your fps stays high, but you experience "hiccups" (i.e. pauses in play), that can be server or connection.

To differentiate between server and connection, you need to test your connection (if you can use other apps without losing fps, or, use another device on your wifi maybe). Keep in mind, using another device on the wifi that is fine does not always mean server; sometimes, it is the adapter on your device (I have this on one device). Best test would probably be, two devices, same wifi, playing FT on different maps.
