Remember, FT has superior monsters, and killing those do not count towards your quest. Also, if you had help from players or pets it may not register as your kill.

I only think it fair to share this with all, so all know.
Yesterday, I helped a player with the snow dragon killing quest.
Here's the thing - for it to count, you only have to get the killing blow.
So, I tanked and weakened them to red, then he went along and killed them.
This was discovered by players (and posted) when the kill ice gremlins quest came out.
But as stated above, if the pet gets the kill, or another player, or if the monster is not the exact type you need, it will not count.

That's how it works for other areas too, like weakening a vampire and letting a low level go at it forever to finish off for vampire blood.

Are you sure?
I thought, for the vampire blood, they had to do the most damage to the mob to get the drop.
If this is true, then it would make things easier for some I think.

If they're different colours, they're not the exact same monster.
You have to kill a specific colour.

I'm not sure what the damage split needs to be, but I've made a few hits on them (vampires, as I'm so far away frim worms) and stood there before, and whatever low-level player seems happy when they finish the kill. Maybe they've all just been disillusioned and walk away empty-handed for all I know!

With standard drops, it goes to whoever inflicted the most total damage.
That's easy to figure out with two players - do 51%.
When you get more players involved, it's trickier to tell by the naked eye.
Anyway, I always thought that quest drops (such as vampire blood) worked the same way.
I'm really curious now - and I may test it later if I have an alt at the right level.
