so who decided that archers should be thieves or rob another to get soul gloves?

if you try to be a good archer you cant have them.
wouldnt be so bad if there were 750 or even 1k gloves. but the next one is lv2k wtf.

I noticed that ranged characters will have to take a longer walk because of this too

Anyway, most players dislike this. You can only get some items once because some are not drops yet, are dropped from rare bosses, or aren't dropped by a mob yet. But, many items are beginning to have multiple ways to get them, like the Jade Pendant (is and will be a drop)
Maybe if enough players say something, they will become obtainable in another way (if they aren't already)

Eh, it's only temporary.
New items and new ways to obtain them are added with just about every update.

I can recall when the game was much more difficult, and levels had a bit more meaning (as well as gold).

I recall grinding my swordsman to level 100 with a level 20 sword... and shortly thereafter, swords were added between 25 and 100.
I also recall that when my archer reached 100, the swamp bow was unobtainable normally - except through events - and I had to pay 45m for mine (which takes a while when running robes with only 1 pack - no extra backpacks, no pets)

It's only a matter of time.

Yes I know that some of the items needed for the quests are very difficult to obtain normally (almost impossible), and I reported them right away. I've no idea what's planned for them. But, keep voicing your worries everyone, as this may help them get added faster.

I did the same rearrow. Im level 1700 and still only have 400 gloves
