Happy Blue Moon ...

At the end of march 2018 we had a "Blue Moon" and then another strange and rare occurrence.

So today I'd like to wish all who celebrate it: Happy Easter and beware April Fool's Day jokers.

Both are a matter of culture and or religion, so please do nor take offence.
Here the Fool's Day is: 28 Dec, Día de los Inocentes
For the first time since 1956, Easter Sunday falls on April 1. Since 1900, Easter has fallen on April Fool's Day only four times - 1923, 1934, 1945 and 1956. It won't happen again until 2029.
... and I fully plan on being here on 1 April 2029! It's only 11 years away and I will probably remember how to push buttons.

Of course maybe by then "smart phones" will be an implant, running off brain power, in which case I will be out of luck. Not because I'd refuse the implant, but with my brain power today and adding 11 years of degradation, I would probably produce an equivalent to the very first XT. Heck I'm close now!

Anyone remember those? Came with a 5.25" floppy disk, 2 if you could afford it, and "640k RAM is all anyone will ever need!"

This prompts the question, is a blue moon made of blue cheese? Stilton? Brie?

My first computer was a C=64, then an XT with a 5.25" floppy, then an IBM PCjr running DOSv1
Hated even the look of Windows 1.1 and did not install Windows until MS-DOSv6.22 was almost dead ...and that was Win3.11 for Workgroups and kept that until Win95. My last Windows: Win2k died in 2007, been a Linux user since.

Funny thing, July 2007, power up my PC ... and Windows loaded and told me something like:

EXCUSE ME! How can Windows boot up off a hard drive and then tell me it can't find that same drive? Only a Bill Gate's product can pull that trick. And that HDD is still in use today, running SliTaz Linux on an "old" P-III.

Remember the song: "Blue Moon"

We had 95 but i think bit rate jumped between version 95- 98. So being a little biased i used 98 and 98 was probably the best. Never used 2k, NT, TILL XP came out then windows got depressing ... Linux is too open source. 99$/yearly for Microsoft office is retarded MS must be in a world of hurt.(revenue)

P.s. i dont remember what mother boards used in the old pcs i moght have been bit to young...
