Maybe for rare or "one only" items a pop up when selling to a shop or "trading/selling to someone":

Are you sure you want to continue?

Not sure if it makes me in the minority or not, but I tend to agree with MadMikael. You already get a little pop up window (the standard one when you sell) showing the item and what you will get for it, so hopefully you are looking at what you are selling.

Confirmation windows exist for a specific reason - so you can double check.
It's your choice whether to pay attention or not.
We could add more, but it would make no difference to those who don't bother paying attention to what they're doing.
Example:

Are you sure? - yes
Are you sure that you're sure? - yes
Are you sure that you're sure that you're sure? - yes
Are you sure that you're sure that you're sure that you're sure? - yes
etc.

Adding an extra confirmation step will not help those who are not paying attention - they'll just keep hitting the checkmarks - if you move it around, they'll just get used to the pattern and hit the confirmation anyway. The only real achievement is this will annoy those who pay attention - and might actually make them pay less attention.

No, we don't need more confirmations.
Players just need to pay more attention to what they're doing - and learn from their mistakes when they make them.

As for the re-buy from shop idea, I don't think it necessary if you simply pay attention.
The amount of coding required to make this in a way that cannot be abused is ludicrous - and if something is missed, we'll likely have another few more hundred accounts in jail for abuse. I'm sorry - I think that both compbatant's time and the admin's time could be better spent elsewhere. I'm against this idea. Hours of work because a player does not want to take 2 seconds to look carefully.

Yes that's true but some players, self included, do not know that the Jade thing is a "1 only" item.

I'm just adding my thought here, nothing more.

I understand that your idea is meant to help and look out for the best interest of players.
This is very well appreciated.
But keep in mind, that a list of such items would need maintenance with every update.
At one time, you could only get the mithril plate from the chest in the Red Monsters dungeon. This has changed.

in the coming update, the jade pendant will be obtainable as a drop.

In time, I will be examining some potential for another item or two - it's just not high on my list of priorities.
Thing is, the trend set over the years - items that were one-shot items become included as drops later.
So really, this mechanic of confirmation should not be needed - as it's only a temporary issue.
That's one of the joys of being involved in a game that's constantly under development - improvements come along.
For example, not long ago, transferring 30 fish to an alt was a real chore....

Also....es geht darum:

Es wäre schon schön, wenn man im Shop, wenn man mehrere Sachen verkauft, ein Rückkauf-System hätte.
Das ist bei vielen Spielen so, eigendlich bei den meisten !
D.h.
Ich habe etwas im Shop verkauft, aber solange ich noch im Shop bin, habe ich noch die Möglichkeit dieses verkaufte Item wieder zurück zu kaufen.

Sobald ich den Shop verlasse, dann halt nicht mehr.

Ich hoffe Ihr versteht mich jetzt.

Wie schnell hat man versehendlich etwas verkauft, wenn man geerntet hat, und die ganzen Rucksäcke voll hat, mit den gleichen Sachen, z.B. Ringe, und dazwischen auch einen Ring hat, den man NICHT verkaufen will.
Mann klickt schnell auf verkaufen, und weg ist er. Sh.....t ! Den wollte ich eigendlich nicht verkaufen ! Jeder kennt das ! Ist edem schonmal passiert, und deshalb halt ein Rückkauf-system !!!!
