Sorry for stupidity, but I cannot find the platinum ore. I'm in the ice caves but cannot find it

although, I did find a broken boat, a broken portal, and a door that says I need "friends" before entering

No idea about the boat, the portal you have to fix and the "need a friend door" is a boss fight, I missed that had no one to go with me and now to high to enter.

Talk to village elder to get the portals fixed.

I've got the portal quest - fixed one already. have the fix for another (but it's currently equipped) and need to get the fix for the last one.

platinum is in the bottom.layer of the underground city,.
uou enter the underground cityfrom the frost cave and will have to melt a,way in. you will pass ice gremlins, trappers, elder trappers before you go down and see the boat.
forplatinum you will have to fix the boat. do some quests,
then go down to the portal at the mid bottom of the screen. do down stairs.this will bring you to the area where thevplatinum is. but i think you need to be lvl 1k before you can.

well. it might have changed. but platinum was only needed for crafting lv1k+gear. if theres was lower gear i guess lvl may come down.
but no. u cant use ur low lvl mining dwarf. your lv1k gotto do it himself.

level 600 is minimum to go underground level to repair boat

platinum ingots are used also for meteor ingots , needed for a quest in gold mine

Is platinum ore located anywhere else?
