I cannot fell trees or fish even though i am carrying an axe or fishing rod.please help.

Have you tried tapping your big attack (weapon / wand) button when you're near trees or water?

What lvl u are and have you done the blacksmith quest?
I think u need do that quest first

That quest is not required to USE the tools, only to craft with the materials mined/chopped.

Are you carrying the correct axe? There is a pick axe for mining and another for trees.

That quest is not required to USE the tools, only to craft with the materials mined/chopped.

sidenote: the blacksmith quests has changed completely at some time. originaly you had to get ignot drops from orcs before you could mine. most ignots could not be traded at all. (no mining accounts back then, but there were no skills anyway).
