Requesting Lost quest item

Hello.
I were doing 3rd witch sister quest to obtain ring of protection, unfortunally i died once she gave the ring and after that i miss clicked on 'x' on dropped items somehow and now Im stuck to talk with ascanius about the ring what i dont have.
