This is taken from the game manual pvp section:

If you die in PvP there is a 30% chance, that you lose a random equipped item, but not your weapon. (If the item was an in-game purchased item, or crafted from one, it is not dropped.)


So, to clarify:

1. Absolutely no weapons drop in pvp

2. Armour / legs / helm / amulet purchased from a shop has a 30% drop chance

3. Any crafted armour / legs / helm / amulet will not drop in pvp(?)


It's number 3 in particular I'm not sure about. Perhaps someone could clarify?

For example, the 1k armour needs 1 x 500 armour, 20 platinum ingots and 1 piece of ancient armour to craft.

Will it have the 30% pvp drop chance because none of the ingredients were purchased from in game shops?

Yes, that's correct... basically. To be more exact, there is a 30% chance that some item may drop, and it is included amongst that group. (there is not a 30% chance of dropping necklace, plus 30% of dropping armor plus 30% chance of dropping boots etc)

And to be honest, I'm not even sure that I'm 100% precise here, because I think non-drop items may actually reduce the chance of a drop at all, but I'm not sure of exactly how that is set lol

what I mean is that I'm not sure which of the following is correct:

A> when killed in PvP, there's a 30% chance that you drop an item. If you hit that 30%, then a random item is chosen from all your equipped items (except weapon) If that item is non-drop, then you don't drop at all, if it is a regular item, then you drop it.

or

B> when killed in PvP, there's a 30% chance that you drop an item. If you hit that 30%, then a random item is chosen from all your equipped gear (excluding weapon and non-drop items) and you drop that item.

since there are no exclusive real money purchased items anymore, all non weapons can drop now.

in the far past certain items could only be purchased from shops, they could not be gotten in game.
i guess they forgot to alter this in the manual.

Does 'in game purchase'mean buy item from silverwood or ashdown or so on?

Or

Does 'in game purchase' mean buy an item for real money, like the old black axe or I guess current 100 gear suit?

as far as i knnow the only purchasable gear is conplete sets with max lvl 100.

items you buy at shops do drop in my experience.
crafted items also drop.
so what is left?

I believe the old $purchasable items are still set to non-drop, along with Pharaoh Armor. I know it's not a lot, but a few items anyway

wouldnt surprise me lol.
for those not playing that long that were lower lvl items i think.
pharao armor, diamond robe are the 2i remember
