Forgotten Tales

I have leftover swamp meat after completing the quest. I know it's non-tradeable. Does it serve any other purpose, or can I drop it (and recover precious storage space)?

Been there, seen the guy, have quest to cook, but no meat yet.

I'd say it's reasonably easy to get - especially compared to the hide drops.
I've completed that quest, and I've not yet encountered another quest requiring it - but that doesn't mean there isn't one.
Still, if it were me, I'd toss it. If one of those higher level quests need it, you can get it again.

But it makes sense, if you need it later, you will be a higher level, and the meat easier to get.

Yes I also have a lot of cooked swap meet extra in my house. Lol of course if I woulda known it was nontradable I probably wouldn't of done it he he. I could just toss it but I'm thinking I might need it again someday

I suppose go ahead and keep it if you have space, because why not? If you're in need of a few storage slots, then toss it in the neighbor's backyard and act like nothing happened.

We should have a daily quest like the Hungry ogre who eats Rare fish daily and gives XP.
we should have a Hungry Cave Giant NPC who would eat cooked swamp meats daily and give XP or random item.

This reminds me of the countless keys and rope/candle/map and such like. They are safely stored away but seem to be taking up valuable space.

Back on-topic: preserve the cooked swamp meat or it'll become inedible:)
