Date/Time: Now
Map: Spaw, but probably all maps.
Version: Current Beta
Users are scamming other users by selling items but at the last moment the item becomes a blue box with question mark. (Non valid item)
User A tried to sell me a 2k plate but as I went to accept the plate changed to the blue box.
I did not accept so loss no gold or items. So take your time and make sure you are still getting the item.

These days it is a case of "Only buy from those you know and trust!"
Their day is coming though, and I hope it is: Perm Jail!
To a level 30 Swordsman a level 30 sword is JUST as valuable as a level 1000 wand to a level 1000 fairy!

I agree with all three statements here. It's a shame but as things are, I won't even consider trading with a player who I don't know.

I'll chime in and agree with everything that everyone else is agreeing with. Arashiko's recent post does warrant some optimism though.

I'm not sure how they do it but one guy claims to sell "rare 3k items"
I see a 500+2 plate then poof... (?)
He did this multiple times and kept making fresh level 0 accounts

I was transferring items to/from a storage alt once and one party ended up with the ? mark. I thought it was because I had maybe added too many items at a time, but I was just moving my own items around and did not think much of it.

phantasy star online (ephinea blue burst version)
its been online since 1998 and when the developer called it quits a group of dedicated fans decided to make their own servers and keep the game going absolutely free as long as there are players willing to play they will keep theservers up.
not only are ppl still playing but the community is huge and thriving and the forums are very active. most players on there r 20 year veterans.
i did my first trade today with 2 players i met on forums and there is 3 confirmation Windows before a trade can be completed and the 2 players told me my asking prices were too low and insisted that i charge them more.
its a very different experience there. i pulled 2 all nighters back to back last night and the night before because it is very addicting and players r extra helpful.
