Spoiler & Images.

Since
Board index > Forgotten Tales Forum > General information
is locked I will put this here. It's so sad to see HUGE images sucking up peoples (and the servers) bandwidth because people don't use:
→ the spoiler: Show
TheSPOILER.jpg
If the images are in a spoiler they are not downloaded unless opened. So, think about this, 10 posts per page, each with a max of 3 large, medium or small images, is 30 images per page people are downloading on, sometimes, costly phone data that may or may not have monthly limits, when they might only want to see is 1 of those images.

Now out of the box "spoiler" does not work:

Code: Select all
working?

working? NOPE!
«««--- see. :(

because you MUST add the " = " sign:

Code: Select all
working?
: Show
working? Of course it is.
We added the " = " sign.
and some descriptive text if you want:

Code: Select all
working?
some descriptive text here: Show
text can be what ever is "acceptable" in ForumSpeak!
→ What would be nice is: Show
if a SrGM or Admin could move this post to:

Board index > Forgotten Tales Forum > General information

Great post:)
Very informative. Maybe add in something about max number of images?

"If you wish to attach one or more files enter the details below. You may also attach files by dragging and dropping them in the message box. " Here is the message when adding a file. This may be part of the reason we don't see spoilers. We are used to dragging and dropping. Your example shows it but we might also mention if you choose the "insert in line" option the picture info needs to be between the ) of first spoiler and ( of second spoiler. (Spoiler=fun)picture info insert here (spoiler).*

*My keypad doesn't have brackets so I used () for illustration.
