Forgotten Tales

Well, I have done it, one of my archers has done it now it's time for my fairy and she just dies, dies and dies again. Her level is 152.

Does anyone have an idea of what her settings should be?

The boss has a DEX of 200 ... and I have never fought a boss with a mage class.
I think there is a whole bunch of magic resistance as well, be checking that in a few minutes as I try YANS¹

Any help appreciated.

Well - ALL on mana didn't work!

Dex+6, HP enough to survive 2-3 hits, and rest mana. Be ready to heal a lot (potions and/or spell) while killing it.

If dex is 206 (+6) it leaves precious little for mana AND hp

Why do I need DEX if I am killing with MANA?

75 +1k HP pots disappear faster than beer at a lumberjack convention.

But will try that.

Well, I put 120 on DEX for 206 (He was 200)) - the wand attacks 100% of the time.
Put a little on ARM and all the rest on mana
Took 73x 1k HP pots.

Went in called him out, and attacked with the wand.
Watched for 3 or 4 of his attacks. HP was holding ...

Held "Attack single enemy" ... saw HP drop a little ...
Second drop in HP, took finger off spell tapped, HP Pot twice ... HP100%
Held "Attack single enemy" ... repeat ...

RYACA IS FREE!!!!! and the white coffin awaits!
I came out +6 levels and with 11 HP pots left over.

Yes. The +6 dex was not to aid your attacks, but rather, to prevent his from hitting so often. The HP was to allow you a chance to heal. Given those, killing him was almost inevitable. Almost.
