Iwant to buy a house, but there is no free house in the place I like, so, I ONLY can buy a rock? or tree?

Alas, that's the way it is! If I may be your estate agent for a moment, some lovely places to consider buying in are;
- Ardesia City
- Kedington
- The Bank Town

You can really choose any type of object as long as it's not just bare ground. You'll see houses from rocks, trees, coffins, lava pits, walls, etc... So long as it isn't something like a mining material or doorway it'll probably be ok.

No houses allowed in Hobbs Gold Mine or north of the river on spawn being the two general exceptions I've heard.

If you have a look at some of the more recent requests, you'll see what comp requires (screenshot with /info and a sentence confirming the request).

And what's wrong with:

a rock? - helps increase your mining skill get more soul and meteor stones than you know what to do with.
a tree? - helps increase your chopping skill, unless other chop it down, get lots of magic trunks.
a pond? - helps increase your fishing skill - get free items and RARE FISH!!!!

get a house that has side effects.
