Firstly, I wish you a good day.
Some players throw trade requests.I don't look because I don't want to accept these requests.but sometimes I think that I get a message from friends.this is very confusing.my suggestion should not be the trade icon message icon.please support me.

Spam traders can be very irritating. I suspect all players are in agreement. Your suggestion is a good one and is somewhat linked with a suggestion for an /ignore command (see below).

I guess my slight hesitation with a different trade icon is that it would restrict vision to the main game screen. Other than that, great idea.

I know there are multiple suggestions in multiple threads, so hopefully something is changed at some point.

Perhaps a simple on/off setting for requests? If "off" you could not receive trade requests, friend requests, or clan invites. Messages from existing friends could still come through.

That would not address other chat issues like the /ignore suggestion Leone refers to, but it would be a nice start.

SellSword's idea is great too, both of them worth to be added.

U can also have 2 different types of letters or color code them maybe, like blue from friend and red from trade or friend request maybe lol idk
