Forgotten Tales

This is an issue that many clans face: An inability to ally due to an inactive Duke.

My proposition is to have an additional voting system in place. Any member can put forward a suggested alliance but it can only be approved by Lord (And Duke, obviously)

Though a very prominent problem, I don't think this is the solution, because at the end of the day the duke is the duke, regardless of activity. A better option would be to integrate alliance forming and dissolving into the previously suggested role permissions idea, giving lords the ability while their duke is MIA

Sounds good too, just throwing something out to restart discussion. I imagine it's been mentioned many times already.
