trunks,planks,stone,ores, ingots and potions too!
Stack it up to 99pcs.
Or a dozen will work too!

So we can have a better time looting materials and upgrading buildings!

Totally disagree. This idea has been raised many times and it would just make things too easy.

I'd run a forum search on "stack" and that would probably bring up a number of responses, some from several years ago.

Correct...in fact this idea was raised as far back as December 2013: search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keyw ... &start=100

With that in mind, there must be a reason why it hasn't been implemented.

I agree with Sellsword, btw. The game would be too easy.

I completely agree, but not necessarily. It would be possible, while still stacking the types of items listed, to limit the number of them you can carry at once, so that while it doesn't make the game easier, items like pots and knives do not take up space that would otherwise be used for regular items.

I want it easy

I agree plus it would get very boring collecting that many items at once.

I want to collect as much as I can!
