Forgotten Tales

I have a fairly new level 7 archer, and I just acquired a wood axe and a pick. However, whenever I click on a tree or rock formation, nothing happens. Is there some intermediate step I'm missing?

EDIT: Is this for the offline game?


When you stand next to a tree or rock (or water for fishing) you need to tap the attack/weapon button. You would not tap on the actual tree or rock itself.

Your skill will be low at first, but when you see the chop/mine/fish animations you should see something pop up as an item.

Thanks, that works. Note that this was for the online game. I'm used to the offline game where you tap the item itself.
