The "main" blacksmith on map 1, -1 currently crafts every type of ingot in the game with the exception of carbon ingots. I think that the blacksmith should also craft carbon ingots.

Right now the only current crafting use for carbon ingots is crafting level 500 weapons. I suppose the logic is that is you are crafting those you would have to be at least level 500 and have a private house or clan crafting option anyhow. That being said, the blacksmith allows crafting ingots (platinum, meteor, and soul) that you could not craft just by yourself until at least level 500. Yes, we all know people get those ingots from others on a regular basis and there are likely players/alts under level 500 who craft some of them if they have a better crafting percentage.

What it comes down to is why can't I have an alt mine carbon and craft into carbon ingots for me so that I can more easily craft level 500 weapons at my house?

Agreed. It sounds like an anomaly, unless there is a reasonable answer to the contrary.

As far as I can see, most ingots are in the first crafting menu (small sword icon), except for the carbon ingot which happens to be in the third craft menu (slightly larger sword icon).

It makes sense for them all to be together.

Organizing the craft menu to lump similar items together would be great in my opinion. That was my feedback after the new crafting layout was put together, but oh well.

But yeah, carbon ingot crafting at the blacksmith please.

If yes, how? They always seem to me the same objects to craft.
