Forgotten Tales

I'm trying to finish this mission but this npc always appears in the corner of the screen and when I try to talk to him I go to the other screen.

I had same thing happen. I went up in top map and moved to where he would be then went down. Then I appeared below him and then touched him to talk not press button. Eventually he will move I think farther down though and should be easier. Be careful in top map though sometimes strong archers spawn. Good luck!

Sometimes he even appears to the left of the buildings and down a bit. This one can be a pain though.

I also had many problems.
