The server is set to require your account being verified, and registered on discord for at least 5 minutes. You should get a verification email after creating a discord account.

I'm happy to be a part of the ft discord server's mechanics team, i will make sure everyone has no issues and ft discord server is running smoothly.
I know most of the players joining Discord from Mobile and are new to it, so don't hesitate asking any question about how to use it.
For those who also want to use FT server out of mobile, Discord has a Windows version which can be either downloaded or opened from Browser.

No it won't, as it's not lessen from other Social Media too.
