New House Feature?

I think I stumbled onto a new house feature (which may not be new at all) today. If you are putting pets in the house and they are carrying items, the items also go in your house! Not sure how I managed to do it as it's not my normal way of doing things. But, I like it! Not sure what happens if the house is too full for pets and items. Have to try that one later! Anyway, just thought I'd share.
