Buying and selling Houses

I've noticed many homes of players I've never seen or heard of, who may not have played in years. and maybe (maybe) will never play again.
Why don't you create a system to buy a house from a player?
Let's say that I (example) don't want to play this game anymore. Why not sell my house that many people like because of its strategic location?
I sell my house at 0.0, or through a store, or we make one of the many locksmiths become a real estate agent, who has in his file all the houses for sale, with the location and the asking price (40b, 60b, etc. etc.).
Whoever buys will pay gold in play, and a fee with APP purchases, which I think is half the current payment.
The management from that still house continues to make money this way.
Let's put time limits, example that a player can sell his house after example one year of ownership, to avoid abuse.

It seems a good idea in principle, but I have some reservations.
You are quite right that the house is linked to a specific player. If a player leaves the game, they lose their character and any items associated with it. This could be gear bought for gold or anything purchased with real money; for example, backpack expansion, house, pets and so on. The only time when all this can be activated again is when that same player logs back into the game.
The rules clearly state that selling or giving accounts to other players is forbidden. If a player is given the opportunity to sell their house, then my concern is that they may then misinterpret this to believe they are allowed to sell their account as well.

2 points:
- If "TomTom" sold his house through Playstore
- Comp would get the gold for the resell
- The original player should be "deleted" from the game completely
- IF someone creates a new character "TomTom" he starts at Map 0.0 at level (0)
- There is no benefit for "TomTom" to sell his house whatsoever. Since he "QUIT" and would come back as TomTom(0) in a year if he wanted to restart. He would not have old items gold or gear
However, if like many, self included, they just quit and come back a year later to play, they still have everything.
SO:
- an abandoned house is a reminder of old players that helped build the game and might comeback or
- people that are in "perm jail" for cheating in some way.
a fitting tribute to both.
A lot of work for Comp and eradicating a bit of FT history which is not so good - IMHO.

i think the problem could be : its illegal !
a player buyed a house for REAL-MONEY and its his OWN now. FOREVER !
If he play or not is no matter !
Its vs. law !
If someone buys anything, its his. And only the owner can accept to sell houses ! Its bad, but i think its LAW !
At myself i can say: i bought houses for friends once, and the friend left game !
I will take him in memory if i see his house, and will think about the good times with him !
Its like a souvenir

in fact I had to know that the owner sells the house, not others! it is he who chooses! and this is not against the law, it is a very normal trade.
Obviously I respect your thoughts, and if you don't like the proposal, you were right to say the reason too. Respect.
But as I thought, it's not against the law. In my opinion.

If a player just stops playing I don't think anything should ever happen to their house. There is a possibility, no matter how remote, that they resume playing at some point.
If an account was permanently jailed, however, that could be an option. Likely too much work though, and there is no shortage of house options available (other than the walls around carbon which is just ridiculous and needs to stop already).
Thankfully we don't have all of the houses showing the owner name as it once was. There were a few places where names couldn't even be read as there were so many of them.
