Stuck

I moved to map 3-1 or at least it should have been somehow I have wound up in a dungeon it's just one room with a stream and a couple of trees and one character that I cannot talk to and now I'm stuck there I cannot go back out the same entrance there was only one box there with an item and that was it anyone help

The exit is at the top of the small cave towards the right.

Keep tapping the screen around the top right and you will find it.
