Trouble going left with pets

Pets always appear.to the left after logging in or changing maps. When walking left across maps, they are in the way after every map change. Can we make it so that the pets are always on the border and the player is 1 spot towards the center when changing maps?

It's not a big issue, but it would be nice to have pets stop blocking me on every map when going left.

It is annoying when I use a speed pill and half way through it's use I cross a border and:
← = pets
0 = me
| border
because I use the d-pad

and after that:

BUT by now the last ½ of the speed pill is wasted.

When we click to move; we control the pets movement.
When we use the d-pad: we control our character.

Even with tap to move, I try to move up and around the pet, so I often go back to the last map since I'm on the border.

Yes a very unfun type of line dancing!

All for repositioning, and while we are talking about pet placement is there some reason using tap to move the pets run ahead of you instead of behind? As if a pet knows where we want to go!

When we had a cat she would often lead me to the refrigerator. Her snacks were on the top and my snacks were often inside! A limited knowing where I wanted to go even if I didn't admit it...

Was that supposed to be limited to FT???

I'd be all for some sort of a change but I guess it hasn't been much more than a minor inconvenience in my mind.
