I have to kill 250 ice gremblin for a quest in frost cave but the counter doesn't work i don't know why

First thought: pet kills don't count towards the 250. Could that be the issue?

If you wanna do the Mercenary-quest: kill XXX of XXX-Monters....

THIS QUEST COUNTS ONLY, IF YOU KILL THE MONSTERS WITHOUT YOUR PETS.

Surely you can do that quests (i allways do it) with your pets, but than its only a RANDOM-kill by YOURSELF.

Mostely the pets are stronger than yourself, and they killing them faster than you.
That means maybe 1 of 10 monsters counting, because the last hit you done by yourself.

Its allways a problem to explain this for me, because my english is not very well, but i hope u will understand what i mean.

For faster leveling its ALLWAYS good, if u do the mercenary-quest WITH pets (man more xps !), but it will take longer if you reached to kill them all.
But you should remember, that every finished mercenary-quest gives u "+1 LEVEL" + and a chance of an item.
If u r 2k+ level, u can get a chance of an 2k item

This and the mage-quest is good quests for grinding and getting a good reward for that grinding. LEVELS+ITEMS !!!

I like to do it since years !


For leveling fast, than do it WITH pets (only RANDOM kill counts !!!)
For reaching to kill all fast...than do it WITHOUT pets. (every kill counts !!!)

Well said and understandable.

I never though of doing it with pets.
- - Slow for the "count" but grinding for levels.
