Ok all you higher level players.. I've been rocking the Elite Fairies for a while now. So far, they have been my favorite pet in game.

Looking at the Pet List that LordSeth so graciously put together, it appears my next "upgrade" to my pets would be the Worms at level 820. Anyone have any other opinions or thoughts? Big gap between the Elite Fairies (Level 420 required) and Worms (Level 820 required). Just want to make sure I'm not potentially missing out on a powerhouse pet.

only he dies too fast !!
if you can play right, then this is the best option

Thanks. I purchased the halflings yesterday and gave them a good workout. So I did the math.

If using them against snow dragons, red monsters or ghost orcs, I was averaging about 9million exp. per minute. This is because I had to control my spawn and ensure that I have "just the right" spawn and amount of lag time between each monster spawn.

Using the Elite Fairies.. I am able to score around 10-11 million per minute as I can bring in monsters a little quicker without fear of them taking my pets HP.

So even though the halflings are packing a punch of 22,000 per second each. My elite fairies punching a ranged attack of 8,000 damage per second still seam to be the better choice at current?..?

That was something else to consider. The fairies, since are ranged, are able to drop those mobs prior to most of them even getting in range of an attach whereas the halflings had to wait to be right upon the monster to attach making them more vulnerable.

I raised my level with them on trappers, I got 17 m for one spawn

Hmmm.. Interesting..

Did you have to log constantly or were they able to withstand spawn after spawn?

I put them far away on 5 steps!
when spawning surrounded me they saw and went to beat them !!
I was standing on the spawning automatic (6-7 monsters) !!!

With trappers you're likely going to run into spawn limit issues often. I used them on earthworms and such in the HGM entry map and they were awesome there, but that was back before limits (and elite fairies I should add). If you can find a safe spot to fight harder mobs and make sure you are tanking you can probably do better. I'd suggest not Devil Island as the reports from there are almost endless, but it works for others I suppose. I've heard from someone who has grinded a lot on swamp lions/wolves with them, but that's another one where you have to do the tanking.

Definitely one of the highest risk/reward pets, but there are other pets like that later as well.

EDIT: I'm guessing elder trappers, and in that case nevermind on spawn limits...

so there are many other places such as "devil's island" !!
with orcs very fast development, but dangerous !!
I lost 5 orcs while developing an old account for 500-1 thousand lvl
