Ever wondered where they take you? Well, here you go.

A HUGE thank you to LK for the fantastic screenshot below. I had the idea, but he boosted it to the next level.

Portal 1 takes you just outside the Oasis Palace on 1, 1.

Portal 2 takes you to the dinosaur spawn point on 4, -1.

Portal 3 takes you inside the Kraken portal maze. Use the green portal to take you to Kedington 0, -1.

Portal 4 takes you to the entrance to fairy island on 3, 3.

Your idea Leone, I just helped with some graphics.

That is a bit more precise than my old "take the fish for the quest and something else all other times" method!

But I remember using one of those portals during the mission ....but I don't remember it taking me back, but forward in the mission.

Do I remember badly?

I think a boat and boatman take you forward in the quest. These are the regular portals there.

There is no boat and fisherman on this map.

As I recall, when I went to do the quest, I was told to go all the way around and take the portal that "the fish" points to. That would be #3 on the map above.

But WEISSTEIN was/isn't the way forward.

So a little investigating and I find:

I am right WEISSTEIN is not the proper place to go. As seen here: Main storyline: Kraken Island where you will see (in part):

Learned to sail, calmed the seas, you end up in the main Kraken Island!
You enter the cave, and find yourself in a wide map, hot for the lava. Be careful in choosing the right teleport!
As the Ancient Scroll says, its true location is revealed by a giant fish in the clutches of a huge sea kraken.

Where do the teleport beam you to?: Hide

• bottom-left: to 1.1
• bottom-right: to 4.-1
• top-right: to 3.3
• top-right but not so much top: to Kraken Teleport Maze, where you actually need to go to proceed with the quest! (do you see the fish?)

You are now in a Teleport Maze.
You can explore it, looking for the entrance of the Altar Room, or you can read the solution in the spoiler.

Once in the Altar Room, be very careful.
Powerful monsters live here, they don't like being disturbed.

So, L3on3, looks like you, we, found a bug · · ·
- UNLESS - once done the destination changes.
- but - that does not seem reasonable.

You're right. My mistake on that. Hmmm. -2.-1 walks to -2.-2, then you take the boat man after you calm the seas to go to Kraken Island.

From there, you go to the center of Kraken Island, with the cave. It looks like a "Kraken"/squid octopus. It's still on -2.-2, in the center.

Entering that takes you to map 165.165 (thank you /pos). That's the map you have pictured.

The one marked Weisstein is NOT Weisstein. It goes to map 168.168.
It's the "teleport maze" mentioned here:
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=14935#p89502

It does look a lot like the Weisstein map, but eventually leads to the Altar Room IF you don't take a wrong turn...

The Weisstein map starts in 802.802, goes to 803.803, and finally to 806, which is the map where you find the Weisstein and find out some things.

I don't know if anyone has posted a map/walkthrough of all those portals, short of the correct way being posted in the thread linked above. I walked/jumped around on test to check positions, etc.

Is the Kraken teleport maze underneath -2, -2?

I'm not sure what you mean by underneath?

After taking the cave/portal shown above, you go to the map that is posted about in the OP. Going around to the one listed as the Weisstein portal currently, you get to the map below. It is NOT the same map as the very similar looking Weisstein teleport maze.
