Does anyone know variant mob spawn rates?

10k mobs are 10% chance
20k mobs are 1% chance, etc?

I see some variants go up to 50k?! They must be pretty rare!

Or something different? Trying to drop some variant only gear, so I'm wondering what I'm in for....

Specifically the death worm variant I'd guess you are referring to.

No idea on actual spawn rate but I think back to the times I've been in the ancient worm room for myself or others and it was fairly often that a variant would appear. I guess that doesn't matter now for kill quests though.

Yeah, Death Worms and Anthrax is it now, Ancient Worm variants another time.

I can kill 3 or so death worms or variants per minute, so even if 1 in 1000 was the drop rate for all variants, it would still take quite a while. If I'm looking at roughly 10 (or 20?) kills per 0.1% chance, then I'm in for it!

Nominally, 3333 minutes per drop?! Oh my!

YUP! Sounds about right for the FT standard.
