This method is exactly what Cashew taught me, about 3.5 years ago, with his little "Pet 101 Tutorial"

We tested it and other little tricks with green spiders first at the 'Bandit's Tower' where J. Rogue now takes up residence.

So not really a stranger to it, it has 'always' been an option in the game.

The really fun one that is going to get people's pets killed again, is the West Cave with that really small entrance while looking for keys and the missing part of the forge.

Good thing there is pet storage now so anyone who gets their pets killed in the west cave has just themselves to blame.

Really though, I trapped my pets by moving with them to doors for years before I knew something else was an option. I even did it last night for the chaos dragon. People complaining about the "ball room" can do it there too. Not the end of the world and since it's already been announced that the /wait method was an unintended bug people can adjust to it.

Totally agree.

Also, you can park your pets just inside the "Ball Room" door and hug the walls to get through.
The Balls will not come and dance with your pets.

Trapping pets isn't hard.
